Cancelling a card subscription

1. Sign in at app.cleartape.ai and open Settings › Membership.
2. Choose Manage subscription. This opens Stripe’s secure page for your subscription.
3. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

Cancelling stops all future renewals. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that, your account goes back to the Free plan and nothing more is charged. You can resume the subscription on the same page before the period ends.

If you can’t sign in, email us at [email protected] and we cancel it for you.

Switching between Tools and Pro

With a card subscription, switch between Tools and Pro, or between monthly and yearly billing, in Settings › Membership › Manage subscription. Stripe calculates the prorated amount for the rest of your current period and shows it, and when the change applies, before you confirm. If you paid on WeChat, message us on WeChat.

WeChat payments

A month or a year paid on WeChat never renews, so there is nothing to cancel: when it ends, your account goes back to the Free plan unless you pay again.

Refunds within 14 days

You can have any payment for Tools or Pro refunded in full within 14 days of the day it was made: your first payment or a renewal, monthly or yearly, card or WeChat. You don’t need to give a reason.

• Email [email protected] within the 14 days, from the email address you signed up with or naming it.
• We refund the payment to the card or account you paid with, normally within 5 working days of your email. Card refunds go back through Stripe; your bank may take a few more days to show them. WeChat payments are refunded on WeChat.
• When a payment is refunded, your paid plan ends straight away and your account stays on the Free plan. A card subscription is cancelled at the same time.
• If a friend referred you or you referred a friend, a refund also removes the referral credit linked to that payment.

After 14 days, payments are not refunded, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. This doesn’t affect any right you have under mandatory law, for example if the service did not work as promised.

Your right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

As a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have the right to withdraw from your contract for a paid plan (Tools or Pro) within 14 days without giving a reason. Our 14-day refund above covers this right and goes further, because it applies to every payment, renewals included, and we refund in full even though you could already use the plan.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement, for example by email to [email protected]. You may use the model form below, but you don’t have to.
